Raelynn Noel

Home Study Grades 1-4 Educational Specialist

Mrs. Noel has been a dedicated educator at YRCS for 18 years, bringing a deep passion for Waldorf education, nature studies, and homeschooling to her work. As a Home Study Education Specialist and Garden & Nature Studies Teacher, she supports Grades 1-4 by guiding families in homeschooling with a Waldorf approach and leading hands-on nature experiences for students.

Her background includes a Teaching Credential, a Waldorf Teaching Certificate, and certifications as a California Naturalist and in Herbal Studies. She is also a Trail Guide with a special emphasis on flora, enriching her ability to connect children with the natural world. Her journey into education began when she homeschooled her oldest son in the Waldorf method and later spent 10 years as a specialist teacher in a home study program.

Mrs. Noel finds joy in serving families by blending her personal and professional experience to create a nurturing and developmentally aligned learning environment. Her favorite moments at YRCS include home study meet-ups and time spent outdoors, whether in the garden or exploring nature with students. She values the strong sense of community at YRCS and the opportunity to teach in a way that honors each child’s growth and development.
