Elena has been an integral part of the Yuba River Charter School community since 2023, having been a parent at the school for the past 10 years. As the Attendance Clerk and Home Study Administrator, she is passionate about supporting parents, students, and staff as they work together to build and maintain a thriving, connected school environment. A homeschooling parent for seven years, Elena is a proud mama of two YRCS graduates, with one more soon to join the ranks. Raised in San Jose and Redding, Elena brings a warm, community-centered perspective to her work.

Outside of her professional role, Elena enjoys staying active with roller skating, yoga, and ping-pong. She also has a love for baking and growing pumpkins and flowers. One of her all-time favorite books is The Count of Monte Cristo, a testament to her love for rich, timeless stories. Elena’s dedication to YRCS and her passion for fostering a nurturing environment for students and families make her a beloved member of the Yuba River Charter School family.
