“~An Important Note from Enrollment~
Attention current YRCS families with young children:
If your child’s birthday is between 4/16/2013 and 4/15/14 the time to apply for Kindergarten at Yuba River Charter School is NOW!
The Kindergarten application deadline is March 1.
Applications are available for current families only in the front office.
Does it feel too early to apply? Please consider:
– Birthdates between 4/16/13 and 12/2/13 are eligible to begin Kindergarten at the beginning of the school year in August.
– Birthdates between 12/2/13 and 3/1/14 are eligible to lottery now and will be eligible to join Kindergarten once they have their 5th birthday – space permitting.
– Birthdates between 3/2/14 and 4/15/14 are not eligible to attend Kindergarten in the 18/19 school year however they ARE eligible to lottery now and secure a waitlist position.
-It’s never too early to apply for Kindergarten, applications can be keep on file until lottery eligibility. Too late however IS a possibility, sibling priority only works if they apply in time for the lottery.
