Mrs. Wilkinson’s journey with Yuba River School has come full circle. She first joined as a co-teacher in 2000 before stepping away to raise her children, incorporating Yuba River’s values into her home. Her passion for education led her back to the classroom as a volunteer, teacher’s assistant, and Music Together instructor before earning her teaching credential. She has since taught grades 1 through 5 and holds a B.A. in Child Development, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Waldorf Teaching Credential from Antioch University New England.

Now in her seventh year at Yuba River, Mrs. Wilkinson has spent her years blending Waldorf teacher training methods with public school learning to create an environment where children are engaged, connected, and challenged. She is deeply invested in building relationships with students and families for a more meaningful learning experience. Her teaching style is loving and clear, fostering an organized, warm, and beautiful classroom where children feel safe and valued.

Outside of school, she enjoys trail running, coffee with friends, and local theater and music with her husband. She also cherishes visits from her two college-aged sons. Mrs. Wilkinson is grateful to be part of a school that shares her teaching values.
