Yuba Streams Programs

Before School Care Program

The Before Care program provides an opportunity for students to be dropped off at school asearly as 8:00am. Students will be welcomed indoors and provided an opportunity to eat food brought from home or a Community Roots breakfast. Students will have a choice to read, listen to a story or some other quiet activity before being released to recess. There is no cost for Before Care.

 

After Care Program

Aftercare is open from the end of the school day until 5:00pm. Aftercare follows the Yuba River Charter School Calendar. Aftercare provides students with structured after school activities and childcare for enrolled students.  Aftercare is open from 1:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on regular school days.

Students must be currently enrolled in site-based Yuba River Charter School and complete Yuba Streams enrollment paperwork before attending.

 

Intersession Program

Intersession is a program offered to YRCS students in grades TK-6, thirty days beyond the regularly scheduled school year. Students may sign up for any number of the available days. Intersession provides students with structured activities and childcare during many school breaks, both during the school year and in the summer months. Intersession days begin at
8:00 a.m.  and end at 1:00, 3:00 or 5:00 p.m.

 

 

How Do I Sign My Child Up for Yuba Streams Programs?

  1. Enroll in Yuba Streams
  2. Once the form is complete your child will be enrolled in Yuba Streams, and you will have access to sign-ups on ParentSquare under LINKS

 

Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides funding for before and after-school care and enrichment opportunities for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade. For more information, please visit the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) at YRCS page.
